DERTOUR Group is unifying and harmonizing its brands across its international Destination Management Companies (DMC). This strategic initiative reinforces the positioning of the DMC organization as a trusted B2B partner in the international experience sector (travel arrangements, tours, and activities). With a network of 71 offices in 31 countries, DERTOUR Group’s DMC organization combines a global scale with deeply rooted local expertise and on-the-ground service teams spanning the Americas, Europe, Africa, and Southeast Asia.
Fewer brands, stronger impact
With the rebranding, DERTOUR Group will streamline its DMC brands and harmonize their visual identity to create a unified and recognizable presence across markets. Effective immediately, Destination Touristic Services, which operates as a DMC organization in Europe and North Africa, alongside DERTOUR Destination Services AG, the global service and tour guide organization, will be integrated under the DERTOUR Group brand. This strategic move ensures a consistent and recognizable brand presence across their respective regions.
Meanwhile, GOVACATION, with operations in Africa, Asia, and the Dominican Republic, as well as New World Travel (NWT) in the United States, will continue to function as dedicated long-haul B2B brands. Both will adopt a harmonized visual identity, ensuring cohesion across the organization’s global network.
Consistent standards and collective values
Klaus‑Ulrich Sperl, Chief Executive Officer DMC, emphasizes: “The enhanced sense of unity reinforces our position as a growth driver within the broader DERTOUR Group framework and ensures that partners and guests can rely on consistent service standards rooted in our organization’s shared values. Our ambition is to offer personalized, high-quality experiences that connect our guests with local cultures, people, and the environment during their travels.”
International network with deeply rooted local expertise
DERTOUR Group’s international DMC network welcomes approximately four million guests each year, primarily from Continental Europe, Northern Europe, and the UK. It offers a wide range of highly customized experiences designed to meet the needs of its international B2B clients.
“Today, more than 100 tour operators worldwide entrust our DMC teams across the globe with their travel arrangements, including hotel reservations, transfers, excursions and cultural visits for international travelers,” explains Klaus-Ulrich Sperl. “Our unified brand strategy strengthens our global presence while leveraging local expertise. With our strong network of longstanding local partnerships with selected hotels and suppliers, we are committed to delivering tourism services and experiences that excel in both quality and local relevance.”
Enhanced technology and security as a member of DERTOUR Group
As an integral part of the DERTOUR Group, the global Destination Management Company (DMC) organization benefits from advanced technological resources. This includes access to the latest technology platforms, which enable seamless operations and improved services for clients and partners. Recently, the DMC organization further strengthened its external connectivity through a collaboration with Anixe, a DERTOUR Group subsidiary. This expansion facilitates smoother integration and cooperation with external partners, ensuring efficient and reliable service delivery across the global network.
In addition, the DMC network also benefits from DERTOUR Group’s highly professional security management processes. Dedicated crisis management teams ensure robust support and the safety and security of guests at all times.
